Selling for a co-worker. It was obtained from his father-in-law who has had it since the Korean War. He was a marine assigned on an Aircraft Carrier who got it in trade with a fellow marine. Here's a few pictures. He can provide appraisal documentation. Comes with original holster and two magazines. Asking $950.

You need picture of the chamber area. Is it all matching? The grips do not look right, are they wood or plastic? Do the mags match?

Just for everyone's info. Based on what I see. Is East German reworked unit made for the Vopo or Volkspolizei. After the war, they took a lot of the serviceable lugers and other pistols, reworked them and pressed them to service. Things to look for are bakelite grips, stamped all over with what looks like a sunburst, this example has one on the grip on top of the unit property marking. The unit marking is probably original from 1917. This is probably a original police gun as well. Trigger and sfety is no longer strawed but blued. Hope this helps. I have several of these VOPO Lugers. I use them as shooters rather than collector pieces.
