I am interested in getting a Gock 19 Gen 3 from you Orange store. Do not want a pre Nov 2011 mfg. unit due to the erratic shell ejection concern reported by various buyers (shells eject to face and head). Are your G19s that you sell generally post the Nov. 2011 cut off?

Wow... tough question.

We move through lots of Glocks, so there is decent turnover but we have no way of knowing which Glocks we have on hand were made before or after that date. And even less sure that Glock would release mfg dates by serial number.

The test fire date from the factory is usually identified with the paperwork included with the pistol.

Erratic ejection problem! Just buy the gun, people complain about everything. The Colt Commander has ejected straight back forever. I guess the same people that whine about the Glock should give up all of their Commanders. Maybe they can just send them to me. PM for my address.

This. My gen 2 g19 and pre-nov g22 shoot and eject fine...

I heard the Pre November 2011 guns were manufactured with a course texture that can chafe sensitive hands too.

If that is the case you can ask your local Turner's for that info on the gun you are buying but they will not know until they have a gun on hand in the store since we do not sort any gun by mfg date nor is that info entered into our system.

Yep; with the number of Glocks we move, we've heard nothing about an issue from our Glock customers.

When a shell starts flying and hitting you that means extractor needs replacing.
Not a big deal.
