View Full Version : Thoughts of Remington R 25??

Soooo, looks like a good deal. Looks to NOT have a chrome lined barrel, which I'm told is ok as long as you clean it after use....
Finish is said to wear easily. Other than that, any other issues or thoughts?

I would have bought one if they came in black (didn't want the camof). I instead purchased a DPMS 308 with a 20" barrel, and TM lower. All of my parts are DPMS with the expection of the TM stipped lower and bullet button. It functions great and shoots really well.

Thanks Robert. I am looking at the TM lower as well. Thanks. B

The TM lowers are awesome, I dont think you can go wrong with them. The Remimgton r-25 is just a DPMS with Remingtons name on it.

I dunno, but seems that a fair portion of these home AR10 builds are prone to issues. I spoke to some Gunnies at a local gun shop last night that also echoed some of the feed issues that I've read about here. Makes me wonder about all of the recent builds for sale. This has me considering the R 25. Anyone have one? Thanks.
