Where does one find a Yugo 59/66 SKS stock these days for a good price? I know that they pop up on the Parts thread every once in a while. But is there is a solid place where I can find them for a reasonable price and not the boatloads of money they go for on eBay?

try gunbroker.. there are tons of them. Yugos are commonly bubba'ed so there are plenty of stocks floating around.

another place to check is Numrich GPC. They sell everything.
I recommend Bubba'ing a Chinese SKS as the ones that were imported here were made for export/sporter market anyway unless they are a papered vet bringback.
The Russian ones imported are all armory queens as well but are way too nice to even think of altering.

on a seperate note "someone" obviously doesnt know his history very well as the "Sherman" beat the "Panther" in WW2 , and the "T-34" in Korea. In fact Shermans were still in use by Israel during the "Yom-Kippur" war. They didnt go up against Panthers there as the panthers had all been scrapped, but they did kill T-34/85s, T-54's and T-55's.

Thanks for playing the " I dont know what Im talking about game" sorry you didnt win.
