Up date, I decided to keep the Poly, I sold my LCP and M&P40C instead, now looking for a Vector, heading to LA this weekend if any one has one to sell, or knows where one is.

I've wanted to get a .223 HK style gun for quite awhile now, thought about a C93 but I'm very Leary of it.

I can't afford to buy a V93 right now but I'm kicking around the ideal of selling my beautiful Polytech M14S to help fund the Vector V93, I know I want a M14 style rifle but Springfield Armory M1A are plentiful and I figure I'll just get one of those down the road, I think they'll be easier to come buy than V93's will be? Or I could also sale some hand guns?

I currently have several AR's and a Daewoo DR200 so I do have .223 rifles, I just want a nice HK style .223 rifle, I always loved the HK33.

I also own a Springfield Armory SAR-8 overstamp,

I've never even seen a V93 in person but I hear good things about them, any one own one?

What would you do?

I would just hold out and continue saving up the rest of the cash so you don't have to sell your M-14S. M-14s for under $1,000 are extremely rare these days and most cost well over $1,500. You could end up in my situation... I sold my SOCOM M-14 and have never again been able to put together the money to buy another M-14.

I'll trade you my V93 for your SAR-8.

Don't sell the poly m14s!!!! It is a superior rifle to springfield's product. I say this because it is a true milspec firearm and the springfield is not. The receiver on the poly is forged and the springfield is cast. Your poly is probably worth 900-1000. A springfield, if you do want to replace it will run you 1600+. You can get a springfield any day of the week but poly's, though can be found in the used market, is just not made anymore...

Oh man don't sell that Poly. And definitely do not get the C93.

Yes, dont get the C93. The warranty on century products starts the day that it was made. Not the day you get it in your hands so that is something to be leary of too. I really wish PTR would get on a 223 version. I trust their products.

Well I decided to keep the Poly, I sold my LCP and M&P40C so I'm now looking or a Vector V-93.

Was eye balling one in the classifieds, but my money for the LCP didn't come through until the day the Vector sold, just my luck.

If any one sees one in a store let me know.

That is great. I am much relieved that you kept the m14s. I am not sure what your budget is but here is one.

Atlantic is a wonderful vender and is extremely California friendly. Buy with confidence. They have taken care of me on several occasions including removing the offending evil features and shipping them in a separate box to the ffl.

Yes I've spoke to Blain at Atlantic, this is where I will buy a new one, they say they will add the Radlock for free as their Cal guns discount, only problem is they are out of stock.

My cash budget is $1000, with Atlantic I would put the grand down and pay the rest off on my next payday.

Just missed out on a nice Vector build here, would have been perfect, but my money came in a day late.
