Can you tape two, 10 round mgazsines together "Jungle Style"?

If by "jungle style" you mean coupling the magazines together like how the army vets did in vietnam... taping two 10 rounds together "jungle style" will not work as the magazines are already too short.

Can do it with 7.62, maybe not 5.56. You will have do it with a minimal amount of overlap to make it work.

I suppose when you run out of ammo, you could hurl that bizarre 4 pointed bit of metal like the magical Glaive from Krull, or perhaps like a boomerang. That would hurt. ;)

This is proof positive there is a right and wrong way to make use of tape, that ammo pouches and dump bags (a fancy form of diaper bag) have a place and that there is no replacement for common sense. I can't imagine having to go prone with that stupid contraption attached to the weapon.

Can you? Sure.

Should you? I guess it depends. Any speed you gain on the reload may be offset by the time you spend straightening out the feed lips because you bent them all to hell and gone bumping it against something.

Sure I can.
It's not that hard.
You should think of something more challenging.

There are probably less effective ways of adding weight to your weapon, but other then a rail mounted toaster I'm not coming up with any at the moment.
