Exactly and it works for everything on the site too not just this ammo. 10% off but it only works for your first order.

yeah i saw the coupon code but its a bit confusing when the title states 139.50 and when you click link you see 155$, i was expecting to see the 139.50 and then on top of that using the coupon

seems like a good deal, do they use sign confirmation though? because im never home (for anyone thats ordered from them)

Yeah sorry about that, I explained it a little better now. I don't know about the confirmation signature. You'd have to call them. They use FedEx for right now but he's trying to get the shipping costs down so he may be switching or adding UPS. They both do signatures. I'd call.

Can't remember where I read it, but I think the code expires 02/15. Anyone know for sure?

Since the other vendor I was going to order from is now out of stock on 9mm, I'll probably place an order with Freedom. I see they also have 9mm jhp. Going to order some of those too.

He does have it listed as expiring on the 15th. Look here down the page. http://gun-deals.com/coupons I have an email into him asking when though. He may extent it if it's popular enough.

I've been waiting for Jack Ross to deliver. I saw this deal elsewhere a couple days ago and bought 2000 rounds of 9mm. I didn't buy the blemished ones, I bought the regular reloads.

Ordered Wednesday, delivered Friday morning and shot 200 rounds Friday night! I shot better with them then my Walmart Federal bulk pack bullets. They did have a different smell to them however. The cartridges also have a slight crimp behind where the actual bullet ends that the WWB or Federal ones don't.

They all fed and shot fine, so far so good.

Good deal with the 10% coupon, not sure if I will order again if Jack Ross gets it going since the shipping cases isn't cheap. Still much cheaper than WWB if you buy enough.

The Blaster line says it's Blemished but the .223 is the only ones in that line that are actually blemished. I know because when I put them up on gun-deals I listed all of them as blemished. The next time I talked to the owner he told me "Oh by the way, the .223 are the only ones in that line that are blemished and it's only some discoloration and a few with nicks." I said you really need to state that in the description, it makes a difference to people. He just hasn't gotten around to changing it. I fixed it on gun-deals though. The .223 Blaster is the only one that says Blem. It's all good ammo, this and the Jack Ross. Oh and I just heard from Rudy one of the owners at Freedom and he's still working on the shipping issue but is fed up with FedEx and is in the process of switching to UPS to bring the costs down even further. Thanks for the input. This is what people want to know. How it performs. Good or bad.

If there's no blemishes on the blaster line, I wonder what's the difference between them and the normal reloads?

WeldonHunter
02-11-2012, 11:43 AM
I'm waiting for more clarification on this but mainly the Blaster line is loose packed but the said it's in 250rd lots. The thing is it's also sold in 50 round boxes so I've asked about those to see if they're loose packed. I also asked for clarification on which is blemished. From what I see it's all the same ammo except the Blaster has some cosmetic issues and is loose packed. It's the same ammo otherwise from what I see and will preform the same as the other reloads. Great range and plinking ammo.

Note: I just got off the phone with Rudy and he told me the Blaster line, all of it, can have some blemishes but it's basically all the same ammo as the other reloads he sells. The .223 might have more in the way of cosmetic blemishes than the others from manufacturing or even shipping then the other calibers. Also one reason the Blaster line costs less is it's all loose packed ammo, even the 50 round boxes. It's all made on the same machines.

For those who have ordered, does FedEx leave it at the door or do I need to be home to sign for the ammo? I have stopped ordering from signature required places (like SportsmansGuide) since the time and sometimes gas I spend offsets the savings.

I didn't have to sign for mine. Watch out, they use huge staples to hold the box closed, so don't cut yourself when you pull the box open.

If so they're showing out of stock and that may be why your order hasn't shipped yet. If you ordered new they have those. http://www.freedommunitions.com/product-p/fm9j124n.htm

Its cool. I called them earlier today and they are slammed with orders. Everyone and their mom (with BajaJames83 being the exception) ordered before the code expired. Without giving me an actual date on when it would ship, the guy on the phone kept repeating it would be in the next few days.

He did say they are loading 24hours a day and have a new shift to package the ammo.

Guess Jack Ross isn't the only ones suffering from really good prices.

Hey no problem. I knew they were slammed but have still been getting the ammo out. It was only Monday but I haven't seen it take much longer than this. I asked if there was something else that might be holding it up. I posted this deal on about 9 other forums too. It was the best deal on 9mm to come along besides Jack Ross. The discount code is also listed on gun-deals. I told him he was about to get slammed when I talked to him over the weekend. He told me then they had extra shifts making ammo, lol. You guys here don't mess around when it comes to snatching up a good deal that's for sure.

Working my way through my first 1000 of 2000. I shot about 600 rounds without issue, but today at USPSA practice I had some issues:

About 250 rounds fired (92FS):
2x misfires
2x fail to slide lock
1 stovepipe

This behavior was very strange since I had great luck with the first 600 rounds. Could have been because the first 600 were under normal range settings, while this most recent stuff was faster paced and maybe I was asleep at the wheel or something

The two misfires could have been due to the mag not being seated, but I didn't think so since a full cartridge was ejected when I worked the slide. I have no idea what the hell happened with the stovepipe, never had that type of malfunction on this gun before.

The 2x fail to slide lock could just be my mags instead of a weak load. I was not having any accuracy problems or fliers today, so I'll blame it on the mags.

Anyway, I can't 100% blame the problems on the ammo, and it's been shooting great and accurate other than today so I know I'll probably be ordering more once I run out. Maybe the blaster next time since I don't need the boxes.

The price on the website shows $165/1000rds but I just put some in my cart and it was still $155.00 and with the coupon code Chet-1 it took another $4.65 off. The shipping is better now too. With UPS it's 20.76 but if you click the dropdown box that says UPS and choose "more carriers" it and choose FedEx it was $16.79 to 95376 for a total of $167.14/1000rds delivered.

Ten dollars more gets you the regular first grade ammo and not "blaster" ammo. Blaster ammo has dings and other minor issues in the cases and ammo.

They still have it for $169 http://www.freedommunitions.com/9mm-Handgun-Ammo-p/b9r115r.htm but the cart is still changing it back to $179. I know $169 is the correct price because he emailed me a list of prices that needed to be reduced on gun-deals and this was one of them. Someone's fat fingered the listings or something. I emailed him about it but he must have already gone to bed.
