CalGunners:

Attached is a PDF listing CA firearms laws by citation number and a very simple brief description. I believe this is the listing provided to LASD officers. This was provided to me by a LEO and I have asked him if I could share this information with other responsible firearms owners. Hopefully, it will provide some clarification into CA's conveluded and often misunderstood firearms laws.

I will state that I am not a LEO nor an attorney and am in no way providing any interpretation to the laws or descriptions provided in the document. Please use it for information purposes only.

LEO's, please feel free to comment, clarify, or add your experience.

Thanks!

Thanks for posting it.
If nothing else, it's a nice cross reference from old P.C. to new P.C. numbers. Can't comment on the descriptions..... maybe others can analyze?

"SKS rifle" = Chinese "SKS Sporter" / Norinco SKS-D / Norinco SKS-M

Penal Code 17220
Use of the term "SKS rifle" is governed by Section 30710.
