View Full Version : DA/SA Pocket Guns with Manual Safeties

Can anyone point me towards pocket guns that are DA/SA with manual safeties? Preferably DA/SA?

I know of the Beretta tilt-barrel guns, but those are mostly .32s and such. I'd like to find something like a Ruger LCP but with a manual safety. It seems that most of the pocket .380s and 9mms are striker-fired Glock-clones, with no manual safety. The Bersa Thunder .380 has one, as do some similar Walthers, but they're slightly large for true pocket carry. The LC9 might work, though it has a trigger that many don't like, and is again on the large side.

And I know many folks dislike manual safeties; I have several guns without them and understand the drawbacks. But for this question, rather than start a safety vs. no-safety debate, I'm hoping for some weapons I've overlooked or don't know about.

Kahr PM9

I hear these are pretty great, but I don't think it has a safety. Could be wrong though

+1 on the PM9. i love mine, and i believe its pretty much the smallest pistol in 9mm. they do make one with an external safety and lci:

I've pocketed my Cz82 a few times and it fits your bill.
