Is the RUGER charger legal to buy as a SSE with a bullet button?

Is it legal to build as an 80% razor?

****

I know someone who wants one but doesn't believe me when I say its possible.

If a SSE AR is legal, a charger would certainly be. Does it require a BB, even if its rimfire?

EDIT:

I'm guessing you mean this:http://www.ruger1022receiver.com/

Yes, you can build this 80% frame into a Charger Pistol. Just remember you will need to build it as a Single Shot Exempt pistol and then you can convert it to a semi-auto pistol.

Yep, you got your answers in Red above, and yes it is legal to build as an 80% Razor, or TM has some new 80% receivers that have been well received here on the forum...

Remember the Ruger Charger is a SB23-defined AW so it will always need a BulletButton-style maglock in CA, and must come into CA with a BulletButton maglock. This is totally separate from any single-shot Roster exemption stuff.

TM's "80%" receivers are MUCH better than the "Razors"....
