How well does Duracoat hold up on a revolver?

It holds up pretty well on everything I have done so far. Te only problem with the DuraCoat is the cure time. The longer it sits, the harder it gets for longer lasting. If your in a big hurry, its not going to hold. With a good prep and a good cure time it should hold up very well.

The digital camo would be about two weeks. I want the rifle to sit and harden before really being messed with is what takes the time.

Any chances of getting into anodizing, I have an aluminum 1911 frame that needs to be blasted and refinished.

I have to check but if I remember right the Ionbonding can be done on the aluminum also. It is a harder finish then the hard anodizing. Did you want it done in just black?

Yea basic flat black is what I'm looking for.

I talked to them and they said you would be better doing hard ano and not doing the Ion on AL.

I will let you know if I am sending anything out to be done.
