Nice little long barrel IJ.

Shouldn't be too hard either to find an original pair of Owl straight head grips to replace the broken one.

I'm a purist at heart, but that little revolver wouldn't look too bad re-plated.

Looks like you got a fun project for $30... well done.

+1 on something more creative than re doing the nickle!

I concur. They're a dime a dozen so have fun with it.

I agree...something cool. Like the Tiger Stripes on the newest Desert Eagles, or the Colbalt Blue that some Charter Arms come in.

Test fired it yesterday and it was good to go. So now I'm thinking about maybe doing some old school style etching on it.

I've got one similar but with a shorter barrel. My buddy found it under the floor of an old Victorian he was remodeling. It was a little worse off than yours. OOOO steel wool and mineral spirits brought it back to life. I'd never shoot mine though. PAX

Bought it off my friends old boss. Offered him $20, he countered with $40, settled on $30.
