I took it to the range today for some trap shooting.

Bang!

16/25 First time shooting trap. Met a couple of cool fellas that helped me along the way.

The shotgun shot well, action was smoother than I thought, ejected those shells easily and chambered smoothly.

One problem, it kicked like a mule!
It's a really light gun.

Go figure shooting trap with a bolt gun. Glad you had fun. A .640 batting average ain't bad either.

Grandpa looked at me with the "silly kids these days" look when I told him I was shooting trap with my new (at the time) 12ga 870. "Really, people shoot trap with a 12 gauge? Hrmph. Used to shoot at the officer's club with a 20 gauge bolt action myself." Hadn't heard of them prior to that.
