Not in California; CA thinks they are still firearms, even though Feds generally do not.

I dont understand your question, possible to reduce to misdemeanor means nothing until you actually have it reduced to misdemeanor. why don't you explore the option of having wobbler felony conviction reduced to misdemeanor and expunged and then you may have your rights restored. good luck.

You should also remember that the Federal prohibition is triggered by any conviction for a crime for which the sentence could have been longer than one year. It doesn't matter what the actual sentence was - so reducing to a misdemeanor might not help you even outside CA.
