I don't want a clone unless its of comparable quality.

I picked up a slightly used Aimpoint Comp M2 with rail grabber for $150 about 6 months ago on e-Bay.

I've owned four Aimpoints Comp M, ML and M2 models. I've got three now, one M and two M2's. I sold the ML. The first, M, I bought 9 years ago and it's still going strong. The second, M2, I traded a rail mount laser and it looks like it was run over by a truck and it's still working.

And clonepoints are not of comparable quality. Right on man! :)

Good that you respect quality and know that "right" thing to get....

why'd u sell the ml and keep the m2? are the 'l-models' worse, just b/c you can't use night vision?

The Comp M2's have longer battery life than the first and XD generations (M2 is actually the third generation).
