Ugghh. I didn't think it was possible to hate that piece of **** anymore than I already did. I really hope he gets killed by a black guy with a knife/club/bare hands. He is a perfect example of the p*ssified liberal man stricken with white guilt.

This will probably be mandated for high school US History in the PRK's fine school system.

However, notice in his video that even the FAT *** Moore recognizes the
2nd as an individual right.

What'd be funny is if someone broke into his house and started throwing out all his Ben & Jerry's and ravaged his pantry. He'd wish he had a gun then, I bet.

It would be better if we all ignored him. He's a sad little man and doesn't deserve any of the attention he gets.

Nice to see Oprah latch onto such hate speech/media like that.

I used to think she was smart. Pity..

Didn't know it was a Moore film until the end of the flick.....thought instead it was from Spike Lee.

When I was in Washington D.C. in 1991(?), I remember reading an anticle \ interview with him (in the Washington Post). He made numerious comments about 'white people' that were appalling. His photo is now in the dictionary under the definition of 'bigot'.

Oprah seemed to like it....but she agrees with anything that boosts her ratings.

The funniest thing about that video is that gun control was created to keep the slaves and the freedmen down... Ironic.

Funny thing is that my son (15 year old, freshmen) told me that they showed it
in the school.

Yea, gun control is racist and should be abolished as part of the equal right/affirmative action plan. :D

If anyone doubts that gun control came from racist roots, you should read this Amicus brief from Parker v. DC.

I'm still not convinced that Moore is particularily anti-gun.

Anti rampant-fear-mentality sure. A poor 'documentry' maker, definately.

The joy for socialists lies not in moving to a socialist paradise, which they could easily find over in the UK, but in forcing a free society to adopt their immoral standards. It's most certainly a mental illness, and should be treated as such.

If this isn't anti-gun, then it's at least anti-American. Basically what Moore is trying to say is that all Americans, especially those who fled England and founded this country, are crazy, paranoid, and violent. And he also seems to think that whites hate and fear blacks, and that one of the main reasons why white Americans own guns is to protect themselves from blacks.

I'm curious as to why Moore doesn't just move to Canada. After all, why live in a country that was founded on, and still exudes the principles of racism, opression, and paranoia?

I am not so certin he is wrong in this regard. Pioneers of anti-depression drugs, obesity, fast-food, etc. We're not the most stable people in the world.
And he also seems to think that whites hate and fear blacks,
Again, not sure he is wrong. I'd expand it furthur to include most racial 'groups' hating and fearing each other. Blacks hate whites, Japanese hate Chineese, etc. All that hate and fear is irrational and has no place in a truely civilised society.
and that one of the main reasons why white Americans own guns is to protect themselves from blacks.
This part may be a stretch. In the end though, there is a difference between being truely anti-american, and simply examining one's society's flaws with an unforgiving lense. Moore definately treads that line.

Anti-depression drugs aren't used to cure paranoia, violent tendencies, or insanity. The reason that some people need them is because they cannot deal with the stress of modern life. Just because we pioneered the drug, doesn't mean we need it more than any other society. Japan probably needs it more than anyone else. All of this has nothing to do with violence, crime, or anything else that Moore mentioned. Obesity is just the result of overindulgence and laziness. Again, it has nothing to do with violence. If it did, Moore himself would have gone on a murderous rampage long ago. ;)

Again, not sure he is wrong. I'd expand it furthur to include most racial 'groups' hating and fearing each other. Blacks hate whites, Japanese hate Chineese, etc. All that hate and fear is irrational and has no place in a truely civilised society.

You exaggerate the issue greatly. While there is no doubt that racism exists, it is not as serious a problem as people like Jesse Jackson would have you believe. The fear and hatred of certain ethnic groups is mainly a result of those who promote the victim mentality and desire a scapegoat for their own misfortunes. Racism usually originates from discontentment with one's social situation, it is not something that is inherent in Americans. And by the way, I have no idea where you got the idea that the Japanese hate the Chinese.

This part may be a stretch. In the end though, there is a difference between being truely anti-american, and simply examining one's society's flaws with an unforgiving lense. Moore definately treads that line.

He is definately anti-American.
