The Mayor of New York using the deaths of two police volunteers to push for gun control. Doesn't say it specifically, but I'll bet the fellow in question was not permitted to own a gun and the gun was probably bought on the street.

I would think Gun control caused the death of the two police volunteers. If they had guns, we wouldn't be reading about their deaths.

Frankly I've come to the conclusion the politicians have their heads so far up their hoo haa's, they have no sense of "common sense".

Lastly, if you put on a LE uniform in one of the worst parts of the country and don't wear a sidearm...you are either really dumb, have a death wish, or again really really dumb.

The elitists politicians live where the rich people live and don't have to worry about crime like the rest of us. They have body guards, we don't. They also get CCW licenses, we don't.

The mayor also addressed his critics, some of whom say he is going too far with his gun initiatives, such as suing out of state gun dealers.

"You look the parents in the eye and you tell them," he said.

Ok, I will! Give me their addresses and I will go there and look them squarely in the eyes and tell them that I understand their emotional distress, but that more gun control isn't going to amount to a load of crap with respect to preventing this in the future.
