This was done a while ago, and I believe the officer got flack over this. Though he didn't specifically say what precinct, and is not wearing his uniform.

His Chief at the time was doing just the opposite with his political campaigns but hey, whats a little hypocracy in the PD...

Yes..he was a police officer working for the SJPD if I remember correctly. The police chief was Mcnamara who opposes the 2A.:mad: I think his last name was Pyle if thats correct. He had the guts to stand up to the flat out lies being spouted out about assault weapons..this was a time when the roberti/roos bill was enacted or was being debated up at sac. The NRA took out a full page ad on the SJ mercury dedicated to Pyle for standing up against the gun grabbers. I'm not sure if he was fired or decided to quit/retire.

Interesting... I gave a presentation on assault rifles and semi-automatic rifles and california law in class yesterday. This would have been a very good video to show.
