Thanks

Hello!

safely handle.. well, I'm 250lbs, and it handles me just fine. Make no mistake though, this is strictly a SINGLE rider bike :)
The frame has been welded and braced to handle the engine power, and the stock 50cc frame has handled me just fine, so I bet this frame would handle even more weight if you wanted.

This was my project back in 2003- I wanted to make a freeway leal and capable YSR, so I did- 150cc is the freeway limit. You'd have to regear to actually be able to highway cruise though- with current gearing, it tops out at about 75mph, and gets there insanely quick. It's more fun to ride ont he street with shorter gearing.

The beauty of the 200 is compared to the 80, it has loads more torque, so it's actually easier to ride!

PS- after sitting for over a year, I put a fresh tank of gas in there and it started on the 1st kick- gotta love it :)

Nice setup!

I remember a group taking their YSR's on the 110 in S. Pas one day in the late eighties...

Bump for a sweet little bike.

I learned to ride on a YSR with an 80cc swap. I later bought my own... I still have mine, but it's all in pieces (frame at my shop, engine at moms, bodywork here and there)

I last rode it about 4 years ago, I was 265lb at the time, and it had no trouble lugging my a55 around.
