I know there are a lot of Scotch enthusiasts here on Calguns, so I thought I would offer this up to you guys. Sad that I am not a Scotch drinker.

I have a bottle of King's Ransom "Round The World" Scotch Whisky, circa 1956.
Blended and bottled by William Whiteley & Co., Leith, Scotland and imported by Glenmore Distilleries, Louisville, Kentucky.
All indications from research point to the Scotch being 12 years old, although for some reason the label is not marked as such.
Bottle size is 4/5 quart and is 94 proof.
It comes in a musical treasure chest, with two high-ball glasses and a shot glass.
The music box plays "Around The World In 80 Days", but the plunger to active the music when the lid is opened does not work.
The Scotch is crystal clear (no sediment), and as you can see by the design of the box, the bottle has been stored on it's side, which should have preserved the cork.
Except for the in-op plunger, the box is in excellent condition.

Please note the liquid level in the bottle in the first picture, there has been a small amount of evaporation over the past 56 years.
This bottle has always been stored indoors (not in a garage or shed).
