Yellow line is the trigger line.

It looks a little clunky, but it seems like it would be more controllable than no grip and more comfortable than streching your hand over the top.

Thoughts?

good idea but I still rather have a filled thumb hole on an AK

I've been working on the U-47 "stock". There isn't a way to make a stock that is compliant and allows you to wrap your thumb around the stock. The MM AK grip is the best option right now. I will probably release a California Rifles wood version of the MM AK grip that is shaped a little different and it will come with a complete matching furniture set.

If someone wanted to go crazy and design their own receiver I could design a proper U-47 stock. That is way beyond my my capabilities though. Perhaps Blackstar would be up to the challenge after his AR is successful.

I don't see the point of this one. You might as well just use a regular stock with a "winged" grip or a filled thumbhole stock. The whole idea behind the U-15 was that it allowed you to wrap your thumb around the grip, above the action line.
