welcome to clguns.. check the faq.. all the lowers are good. some will disueade you from the vulcan they are fine but cust service may be lacking. the only thing to stay away from on your firs build is the carbon fiber lowers. as far as the 10 rounds, yes and no, I have both check the faq

I would recommend that you do your homework before jumping in. Search this site for all of the info you can handle on the different lowers that are legal to buy and own here in Kali. There is a lot of discussion and a lot of pictures available. READ, REREAD, and READAGAIN the faq on the OLL's. The AW laws are very confusing and convluted at first (not necessarily by accident). A thorough knowledge of them may be more important than AR-15 hardware knowledge here in Kali.

Once you have a good understanding of what you can and cannot build (the combinations are quite creative now thanks to some of the more immaginative calguns.net members), then you can shop for hardware.

Both of the dealers that advertise at the top of the page (and help support calguns.net) are great to deal with. Tenpercent only sells lowers locally in Taft, but Cold War Shooters has lots of transfer dealers here, and attends a lot of Kali gunshows. They bring tables full of goodies and have a bunch of very knowledgable, helpful, friendly guys to help you lighten your wallet and fill your gun safe. Tenpercent stocks a lot of great items, particularly kali only specialty items, ships quick, and has great customer service.

RRA is good. As I said above, shop and study a bit to figure out what you want to build. That RRA kit would require a fixed magazine build as it is shown. You may want to go with a detachable, no evil features build. I tend to buy a lower and a lower parts kit, then add a stock/extension tube/buffer and mag release/lock (as required) for the specific. A lot of the individual parts and Lower Parts kits can be had at gunshows, MidwayUSA.com, and other vendors, including Tenpercentfirearms.com.
Happy shopping, and more importantly, happy SHOOTING!

Zorkieo, about every 7-10 days we get a "which lower is the best thread" and Id say you will find hundreds of posts worth of info on that subject if you use the search button.
