View Full Version : Cross your fingers, Ammo Bros. to start making .308

03-09-2007, 1:23 PM
I forgot to post this a few weeks ago, during my tireless search to find .308 at reasonble prices and I talked to the guys at ammo bros. and they said they're going to start making .308 stuff that's priced at what SA surplus use to be.

Now don't start calling them because they're probably 60 days out from doing this, and once this is confirmed I'll start a thread on this.

But I think this is good news in my book, because their .223 stuff is pretty damn good.....:D

Just giving you guys a heads up, and NO I'm not associated with them in anyway....

Knowing them, this'll probably be Boxer-primed, reloadable brass too - not berdan. :)

They have the best prices on M1As I have seen in any shop in socal. Try getting a Standard M1A from Turners and you'll walk out with a second mortgage on your house.

:D Cooleo! Just bought a PTR91 but only have about 200 rounds of SA left (already own an Israeli Mauser). To think I could find cheap 308 all over just a few short years ago...

You guys need to stock up while the surplus is surplus.

I was reorganizing my ammo stash and found 7 extra SA battle packs I had hidden away.

I've shot the Ammo Bros reloads before and was impressed. Glad they're going to start up the .308Win.

I have some Aussie as well as SA .308 but not nearly enough.

Im having to buy black hils becuase the .223 stuff isnt at surplus prices and I need some heavy .223 stuff to wok in the 1/7 twist.

Im about ready to looking into reloading...at least I can buy the heavy stuff at a reasonable price.

Never dealt with them before, however after stopping by after making a run to Ades their shop kinda looks a bit mall ninja-ish.
