Do you guys have any pictures so I can compare the difference? I'm going to buy 1 in a month and I'm going to mount it in 16" AR. Thanks!
I found this over at ar15.com, not sure what MOA it is.

Id say thats a 4MOA. I have a 3 moa comp and a older comp that has like a 6 or even 8 moa dot, kinda weird that Aimpoint has so many sized dots.
Depends on what you will use it for. If you'll mainly shoot quick shots around 50y, go for the 4MOA, slower firing at around 100y, go for the 2MOA.

I had a ML2 on my M1A scout, but I think I am going to use that for my OLL build, and get a newer M3 or maybe the M4 to use on the scout. I figure the .308 would be used for longer ranges anyways, so the smaller dot would be better for that purpose. Are you planning on buying the M4 or M3? I can't seem to find a picture of the docking clamps on the new M4.
It depends on your target size and the range that you're shooting at. That looks like a 4MOA dot on your picture and is great for man sized targets out to about 400 yards. The 4MOA dot will cover a 16" target at 400 yards.
On my varmint scopes the 1/8 minute dot is great out past 1,000 yards as it only covers about 1.25" at that distance. The 1MOA dot on my 24X scope is not real good for 1,000 yard shooting unless you're shooting larger targets as it covers 10" at that range.
