****SOLD******
S&W
66-1
.357 Magnum
OC
$450 Shipped
Must ship, no FTF
Selling for a widowed family friend, back of the closet find after husband's passing.
66-1 4" with what appear to be Davis grips, finish nicks and scuffs apparently from carry, but no major issues. Excellent bore. No pitting, rust or corrosion issues seen, including under grips.
Times properly and does not appear to have been shot extensively. Cylinder rod appears to have been pliered on (cosmetic damage, sides flattened in spots but easily replaced), but function not impaired. Buttery DA and light, crisp SA.
If I was going to keep it, I'd replace the ejector rod with one from Brownells and "fluff and buff" the pistol. Some elbow grease and Flitz or Never-Dull ought to do it but your personal preference may differ.
Probably a later -1 as it has the recessed chambers but the barrel is not pinned. SN 113k4XX.
$450 shipped to your FFL. Widow (owner) doesn't want to FTF so ship to FFL only.
Please do the "I'll take it" thing in this thread and IM me if you want it. I have it posted for sale elsewhere and have several offers already, so I won't be bumping this ad at all.
Sorry for the crappy photos:
