Building an AR 308 and looking into this one for a relatively light-weight option (with optional monopod).

Almost bought one when I was setting up my AR but changed my mind as it was going to be used for hunting, looks like a lot of places for things to get snagged on. I think for a bench gun it would be OK, but a PITA for humping through the woods/brush. JMO.

Thanks Duggan - Very great point on the snagging issue. As a matter of fact, I'm also looking to take this hunting as well as on the bench at the steel Silhouette range. In other words, I want the best of both worlds which is what was making me look had at the monopod option on this one.

What did you end up getting for your rig?

thanks

That's interesting, definitely different looking.
