I to would also like to know. I see them all the time selling extremely cheap. They look like they'd be the cool version of the Hi Point 9mm Carbine.

Don't know if they've worked the bugs out or not but a few months back I was considering one. Then I was told to go to You Tube, search for them, & look at all the problems they were having with jamming. After seeing several You Tube videos I decided agains't one. So you might check that out. Although, this was months ago, so maybe they've worked out the 'issues'.... Hope this helps ya.... B

I was interested in this rifle several months ago as it uses Glock magazines. The bummer was that most who had them, seemed to have issues and it appears that the company has struggled to get them ironed out.

Last I heard, ATI was going to try and re-introduce them, hopefully with the kinks worked out as I would be the first to buy one if it was reliable.

I saw one on the wall at Turner's Kearney Mesa the other day. I would imagine if they did re-release them, that's a newer one.

If you're looking for a 9mm carbine, ever thought about the uzi?

After I started looking at these the other day, I was talking about it on another forum with a user.
Seems like he did more homework than me.
Initially when the carbine was being distributed by EMF, the gun had zero to no quality control. Now the the gun is being handled by ATI, it seems like the quality is being controlled a bit more regularly.

Check out the conversation I had. (http://i.imgur.com/1dpeX.jpg)

Hope this helps.
If you decide to move forward with one, please post a review, because I'm extremely interested in one as well. I heard that one of their main offices is in Santa Ana, CA...which is just a hop, skip, and a jump away. I can probably call sometime next week and get a bit more information.

You also might want to check out this deal. (http://slickguns.com/product/jr-carbine-9mm-semi-auto-rifle-58995)

I'm not to sure if they ship to CA or have CA models, but this is a killer deal that really makes me want to jump on one of these soon.

This is what I went with and I don't regret it. Heavy but reliable and has tons of surplus parts available.

Call precision arms in escondido (http://www.precisionarms.com/contact) and ask John about them. He has a 9mm in stock. As soon as I saw it I ordered one in .45 along with a Glock 21 so I can share magazines. This was just last Saturday. From what I hear they had some issues but have solved those. Gotta love the price!

Oooo...good find.
I'll call them up after the holidays. I'm extremely curious about these.

DD's Ranch sells a Cal version for $599. I too am interested, but may go with a Hi Point or Kel Tek.
