you know guys... those things use mags which were around before the ban, and they have a semi auto closed bolt version... we could actually have one in CA

who made the mag and the upper for that matter

It uses American 180 mags: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_180

good lord that upper is pricy. 1700 for a 22lr upper.

Lotta work goes into small production-run basically hand made one-off uppers :D

I can relate to the effort involved in such a task...

Very cool product. Yes, would be 100% legal here with a pre-ban owned AM180 magazine and 16" barrel length.

While 1700 is pricey for the upper, if you live in one of the states that don't infringe on your rights, and own a full-auto AR-15 type rifle, then this would be a neat accessory to have.

Wonder how conducive this setup is to bump-firing :p

hell, meet the minimum reqs and affix the mag to the reciever- install a pop-top lid.

Pistol grip!

If you put a pop top lid on the mag, you'd have to figure a way to limit it to 10 rounds.

You'd probably be better off with a top-feeding chute that is only 10 rounds high.

You do know that SB-23 does not apply to rimfire rifles right?

Here's my Ruger 10/22 in all it's folding stock, pistol grip, forward grip, detachable without a tool +10 preban owned mag goodness!

Spoke to them today, they said they are working on the Semi version. Should be out soon and for cheaper.

I'd be worried about getting a 10 round drum. As these are new drum, there is no way they could have ever been grandfathered in CA.

I'll stick to my 10/22 for now. But if I ever move out of this state. This would be pretty damn cool.

um, arent they AR180 drums? IIRC those have been around for a long time.
