I noticed on the frontpage of Midway that they're have Ramshot TAC on sale for $9.99 per 1 lb cannister.
I've heard some good stuff about this powder, but I have never tried it. I'm almost tempted to order a bunch of it...

Shoot, I just ordered some from Grafs. TAC is suppose to have the highest velocity on (.223) 80 grains in SAMMI pressures. I haven't loaded it yet.

Thanks for the heads up....

If anybody in the Bay Area is thinking about ordering this, I'd go in with you for 3-4 lbs, which would save us some money on shipping and any other associated charges (is there hazmat on powders? or just on primers?)

Hazmat applies to powder as well as primers.
C&R price is the same as everyone else's. Usually Midway doesn't like to give C&R discounts on powder...

I just ordered 4lbs of this stuff. What's a rough estimate of the powder charge for a 69 grain Nosler BTHP (I ordered 500 of those last week)?
Don't worry about the safety aspect -- I will confirm whatever you say against multiple other sources, and maybe even a reloading manual. :D
