Looking for a place to get M14/M1A USGI parts. Was searching on google but came up with a lot of random webpages and i wasnt sure if the parts were USGI or not. Specifically looking to get a USGI extractor and extractor plunger spring. Anyone know of any good sites or stores in socal that would stock them? thanks!

Try Fulton and Chestnut Ridge. They still have a lot of GI parts.

I also think that Fulton sells USGI parts, but I thought they'd be designated as such.

In any case, they are rather reputable so give them a call & I'm sure they can help.

Bill Ricca or Orion7. I buy from Fulton if I can't find it from either of those two.

Orion7 is out of most parts, and are recommending Fulton Armory.

Try this link for USGI parts:

USGI parts are getting scarce and expensive...better get them while they're still available.

Just checked--Bill Ricca has USGI (new, in the wrap) extractors.

Elmer Balance in Devine, TX. (830) 663-5105
Can't get any thing near the original than that.
If you know the history of M1A, you know who he is.

+1 - Elmer is a really nice guy.

I purchased a USGI op rod and bolt (both H&R) from him last year. Took awhile, but well worth the wait!

I would trust Bill Ricca, Elmer Balance and maybe...Fulton Armory.

I could name many nationally well known vendors that constantly lie about their parts being USGI. Almost all are repros.

Some of the repros are ok quality, but, they are being sold as USGI at USGI prices when they are not USGI.

There are fewer and fewer USGI parts. Most of the stuff sold out there is fake and most vendors know about it....or just simply don't want to know about it.

At the same time, there are more and more fake parts being sold.

Thats what I was afraid of. I dont want to pay the usgi price then find out it is no better than the stock stuff i have. I am going to go to Bill Ricca I think, everyone says great things about him
