Well, for all those who were at the beginning of the OLL craze. I decided it is time to finally build some of those 100's of receivers that we were going to register in 'two weeks'. My kids have been growing up..................a little so this year Christmas is going to be 100% made in the USA.

Thank you eagle armory for the 10 round magazine pack. I will build future featureless rifles so that they can enjoy the freedom of normal capacity magazines if the laws don't change anytime soon.

Thank you Fulton Armory for stamping your receivers US Rifle This goes well with my all American Christmas theme.

Thank you Palmetto State Armory for the Rifle kits and the hats and the huge stamp on your box MADE IN THE USA and for shipping out post haste, and the freebies you included with my purchase.

Thank you Cal guns home grown in California for busting your ***** to make this all possible. Thanks for your input in my earlier thread on how to configure rifles for my kids.

I can hardly wait to see my kids faces on Christmas, and walking into the backyard to pop off a few rounds before we head over to the grand parents.

Makes me all Giddy inside

Gotta love PSA.

Though I only buy C&R rifle ammo from them at this point, they still have the best online price for Prvi new production stuff! .303, 6.5 Swd Mauser, 7.5 Swiss, 7.62 Russian, 8mm Mauser, Aught Six, you can't beat $13.95/box.

Can you give me some more info on the changes that are happening or a link? I was just wondering what is changing. Does anything change for people that already bought their guns? Thanks.

Did a fair job of avoiding China this year (not sure about my wife's Nook tablet).
Got mom a selection of tea in a nice crate, US.
Got dad a bottle of Floid Blue aftershave from Spain
Wife got me a straight razor from Solingen Germany.
Got a bunch of t-shirts from local gun and razor vendors (US made).

so what are you doing with all the foam?
i picked up a big ol hardshell rifle case a while ago and it just sits behind the couch without any foam inside

Good job dad! I can't wait to start doing stuff like this for my kids! The best part is that you are creating a memory for them that will be a really cool story for their kids someday. :D

Sweet!
Most kids want an XBOX but I bet any would kill for an AR. Talk about braggin rights "yeah my dad got me an AR for Christmas and 1000 rounds of ammo plus some steel targets to shoot at. What did you get for Xmas". Other insanely jelous kid......"man, my parents got me Battlefield 3............... I wished I had a real gun".

Talk about awsome!

Okay, so I lagged a little and just finished building the guns on Friday. Lined them all up last night around midnight whilst getting ready to wrap.

It was midnight and I had only gotten a few hours of sleep the night before, and a few last night. We did not put these under the tree, but left them in our closet, and will bring them out after all the presents are open this morning:D
