I want to build something along the lines of a m16a4 clone. Can you tell me what the differences are between these three 20" uppers you have?

20'' HF CL MP A2 Upper

Palmetto State Armory 20'' 5.56 NATO FN Upper

PSA 20'' 5.56 4150, Chrome-Lined, Premium Rifle Upper

The first one is a hammer-forged barrel. The third is your "basic" upper. Not too sure about the middle one as I can't see the product info page.

Barrels 2 and 3 are standard barrel, only notable difference is that #2 is marked FN on the barrel as where #3 is PSA marked. Barrel 1 differ obviously by the "HF" marking or hammer forging. All barrels feature: m4 barrel extensions, chrome-lined, MP inspected, govt profile, 1/7 twist, lead lapped and a round hand guard cap (triangle cap is needed if you're building with a KAC M5 RAS). I do believe that FN and/or Wilson make barrels for PSA. Im sure the guys from PSA would jump in and could give you a better answer.

I just finished a A4 clone myself and i went along with the FN marked barrel (Thanks PSA) as the real A4 are FN marked. http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a270/purekrazyazian/m16a4.jpg

I've got the 20" FN barrel. Love it. Put a few hundred rounds through it day after Thanksgiving, and it was just a thing of wonder and beauty.

You want the closest thing to a real M16A4 ... get that barrel.

Lov'in my A4 and did plenty of research prior to ordering a couple of PSA uppers. PSA has been good to me, time to give back and put out some good word. :D
