After reading quite a bit, i'm feeling pretty comfortable about this PWS TTO (http://primaryweapons.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=88&idcategory=6#details)for a featureless Rifle. Your thoughts?

I was thinking the same thing since this does not have the "flash hider" portion of the PWS-FSC556 and is nice and short for a 16" barrel.

practically speaking it does not matter what an item does or does not do, it matters as how it is marketed and described and how the DOJ will perceive it as such

Based on the information condensed by FATE I think it's good to go, just seeking other opinions on that...

The TTO features all of the compensation of the FSC556, but does not poses the flash suppressing tines of the FSC556.

The manufacturer says it does not hide flash. That is good enough for me.

Ya, I'm feeling about as good as I can about it...never hurts to run your ideas through the Calguns community.

Now...how do I get one to my house by Friday...

The FSC556 is not a flash hider.
It is marketed as a compensator.

Edit: I see that now it is marketed as a suppressing compensator. This was not the case a year ago.

Not marketed in any way as a flash suppressor, has no bits on it that could be misconstrued as being flash suppressing elements.

Any reasonable person would say it passes the "smell test". You should be fine with a TTO.

A year ago, you're right, they didn't mention it. But TWO years ago, they did. Guess they went back to the previous description. FSC is unwise on a featureless because of that.

The TTO is good to go ;) Had to post the rhyme!

You're GTG, the TTO lacks the flash hiding twines of it's derivative, the FSC556.
