Anyone know a good place to purchase a BCM Bolt Carrier besides BCM? They are out of stock and have been for a while.

I prefer somewhere you have actually purchased from and a company rather than a local gun store, etc.

Just buy an LMT, CMT, or Daniel Defense. Same thing.

If you're in a rush, I'd also say look at Daniel Defense. If not, just wait they come and go. I believe you can be notified when they come in stock. Just get it soon after you are notified.

PSA also sells bolts that are MPI tested, shot-peened, and all the other good stuff. I love my BCM bolts, but if I need to get a bolt, I worry more about how it has been finished than who's name is on it. If the company has a solid reputation, their bolts should be just fine. I wouldn't get a Blackthorne bolt, even if they said it had been plated in gold and blessed by virgins, because their reputation is crap. But if DD, LMT, CMT, or any of the other name-brand makes say that theirs has been MPI'd and everything else, I wouldn't worry about it.

yep. Only reason I purchased a BCM bolt was because at the time they were cheaper than most others of similar spec. Mine ended up in a LMT upper, and the funny thing is last I checked the LMT BCGs are cheaper now!

Oh well..

Classifieds. I sold 2 with about 1000 rounds down them. I'm on my third one. 1000 is just broken in. You can't find some good deals sometimes. If your not in a rush just keep an eye out.
