View Full Version : Quality OD A2 AR15 Buttstock

Put together a featureless AR (CMMG upper, Sabre Defense lower) with a Magpul handguard and no-name buttstock. Both in OD. The Magpul is great but the no-name buttstock doesn't totally fit. With everything put together, the buttstock moves back and forth (axis of the buffer tube)about 1/32 of an inch. Not tight at all even with the upper buttpad screw tightened.
Anyone know of a quality OD A2 buttstock? Need just the shell, have all other parts.

From a quick Googling:
DelTon makes an OD buttstock. Link (http://www.del-ton.com/AR_15_Buttstock_p/bs1034.htm)
Are you this member on ARFcom? Thread asking the same thing; RRA and Armalite seem to be good picks. Link (http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_127/548698_OD_A2_stocks.html)
Armalite seemed to be the consensus on Arfcom, with RRA being recommended as well; Model1Sales was mentioned but no one really said anything on it. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. When I first googled, all I found was expensive kits when all I needed was just the shell (A2). Looked at RRA and they have what I need. Again thanks.
