Gotten so expensive....?

I remember when I bought my pmags like 3 years ago they were like $5 a piece or $8 from what I remember. And My pmags were like $13

I just looked for a buddy and its $15 for a GI mag.. since when?

I've been wondering that myself... actually $8 was on the expensive side considering I got most of mine long ago for something like $2-3 each.

At $15, i'd much rather get a pmag.

ive seen them local for 8$. Online they seem to be all over the place, but deffinatly seem to be getting higher.

Im pissed I didnt jump on a Draco when they were 350. They seem to be closer to 425 Average these days.

Yea I checked 3 sites and all 3 were listed around $14.

Luckily I bought a few 10 rounders back then and have an as* ton of pre bans I found in my uncles old military bag in my attic. Probably going to convert some of those over to 10 rounders so I can use them here.

Sucks for the newer guys going to have to pay some good $$ for GI mags.. I wonder why the hike all of a sudden.

Really it just seems "because we can".

Who knows, firearm prices dont seem to be very stable on anything lately.

Your flipping out over a couple of dollars in an inflationary economy on a firearms forum using the title WTF?

Yeah WTF is right, but not about the mags.PMAGS are half what they were a few years ago on average so buy less mags and get better quality.

I remember one of the first things Obummer did was to stop selling once fired military brass. Perhaps surplus GI mags were included and the shortages are hitting the market???

Ammoman (http://ammoman.com/index.htm): 10 1911 mags for $99 delivered. They are USGI - come in the brown bag with NSN on it.

Bought 3 GI mag repair kits @ the last SF Gun show.

Doesn’t matter anyways, can’t use the mags I have in my BB AR... :(

Everything is pricey in CA too. Go out of state. I see usgi 30 rounders for 9$ - 12$ all the time. Pmags are usually 13$ ea or 2 for 25 no tax at gun shows here. Best bet is to go to an out of state gun show and disassemble them and convert them urself rather then paying a company twice as much when it only costs a buck to do it

There's usually a guy at the Virginia gun shows that has a foot locker full of GI surplus mags for $5 each. New are $8-10ish.

Palmetto State also has some right now for $9.95.

If your complaining about the price of high caps, you clearly went buying them during the Federal AWB. Glock mags were $75 all day and GI mags were $15-20. (in 1990's money.)
