I have a Tantal and want to go the featureless route without buying a new buttstock.

Thanks

To lock the stock on a Tantal, you just use a bic pen's body. Just cut out a little piece that will fit between the folding mechanism before installing it and voila! Won't fold by hand. Only way to take it off is either remove stock assembly or cut it out with an xacto knife.

...and now for something completely different...

There is a screw on the rear trunion that holds the trunion to the folding stock pivot mechanism.
Remove the short screw and replace with a longer screw (grind it down to fit snug).
Gringing a point into the end of the screw and matching divot into the stock's metal will make it more secure. No cutting or permanent mods needed.
