Anyone know where I can buy a good quality:o cheaply priced ak 74:cool:

Any good deals out there right now?

I'm not sure I can convert a saiga, so I don't think that is a option.
I don't think they come with threaded barrels, which is also something I require.

Ooh dont know any shops there but maybe you could look at Atlanticfirearms.com try and get one with an original commie barrel...
But I atrongly reccomend a kit build, its easier than people make it out to be.

Interarms IAC AK-74 might be what your looking for. Atlantic firearms has those & also has Century Arms 74's, I think. Century would be the cheaper priced one.

not to high jack the thread, but how much would it cost to build an ak-74 from a kit? Like the total cost?

$299.00 kit w/bulgarian barrel
$70.00 on akbuilder.com flat, fcg, centersupport, rivets, red star rp,
$15-30 bulletbutton
Ive never been to a build party so I dont know what they charge. I have a private tutor that is a master blackbelt lmao at building.
You'll still need 2 more u.s. Made parts and if I was you i'd go with black u.s. Made furniture!

Paragon Defense converts Saigas for around $150, and they do a very professional job of it.

Just checkout the gunsmithing forum, there's threads on build parties.

Atlantic offers a Saiga in 7.62x 39 with a threaded barrel, maybe they can hookup something in the AK74 caliber with a threaded barrel? Half the conversion on this rifle is already done.

And that is why I stay out of Arf.com most of the time. The guy came on, apologized, and said that they were fixing it. And the @$$hats in the peanut gallery kept piling on. I had them convert mine, and I posted my review of it on here a couple of months back. They did a good job. The finish looks great. And most importantly, it has worked 100%. So, yes. Really.
