I got the full JD lower and upper assembly at the last San Francisco gun show, but the Krieger barrel will take months to finish. I sold a Browning NIB A bolt for some cash, so I decided I want to have some fun while waiting for the barrel. I got this DPMS 16" Oracle upper for what I think to be a great price, $565 shipped to me in three days.

I had an old stock, a new RRA 2 stage NM Chrome trigger, DPMS lower parts kit, used Hogue grip, and a new 56mm scope, no magazine yet.

I enjoyed putting it together this last Friday Dec 2ND. on Dec3RD, I went out and sited in the scope. The scope mounts were not tight enough, so I had a few run away shots, but after tightening them, I got three OK groups. I was using sand bags and the gun kept moving on me. I will go out next weekend or so and re test it. I like the 308 AR-10 so far.

Sorry for you have to click on the pix to see them

Here is a picture of the target...

The first group is where the taped holes are on the right, the 2nd group on the left, the third group is the last one where the hole are not taped.
