I saw this on gunbroker, a Cobray 9mm carbine rifle. Aside from having a pistol grip (changed to monsterman type grip) or fixing the mag to comply with SB23, would this fall under the RR AWCA as Cobray isn't listed other than as a pistol?

Or how about MasterPiece Arms version:

I have some funds available for a cheap long gun any random ideas? :D

I'm assuming it's top opens to load? It's not on the list, might be better just to get the receiver in then build on top of it if they can do that. I do wonder how you'd pin that mag though?

BTW, I'll put a note in the FS section to thank you, I picked up the receiver a few minutes ago.

Have a great Kenpo day

Yes, these are not listed rifles.

The only listed Cobrays models are the Street Sweeper and Striker 12 *shotguns*.

If this rifle were shipped without a pistol grip (and I recommend the grip be shipped separately!) and without hicap mags it would be CA legal - appears there's no flash hider and the stocks don't fold. I dunno if 10rd mags are available for these, I'm guessing so...

Why you want one of these POS is beyond me, though - get a Ruger PC9 carbine, you can often find 'em used at a good price.

the grip is the magwell on the cobray. fixed mag is the way to go(though the mag catch doesn't lend it's self to an easy fixed mag conversion). factory zytel mags were the only ones that would function in mine and my friends cobrays and i would think they could just be pulled out with your hand even if "fixed".

they are very inaccurate, no bolt hold open, lots of trigger slap, and heavy for a 9mm pistol/carbine.

a waste of money unless the "cool factor" is what you need.

i had a pm11 and was happy to dump it.
