I was going to keep the look traditional....but after looking at so many rifles with them on here. I gave in and got some. I have to say that I'm liking them much more. It feels more solid than my old handguards. I know some guys hate um...but....hey....I love it....its mine. :43:

i went moe because i want the ability to add accessories later if needed without the full railed handguards look. it also has the recessed area making room to mount bigger red dots like the 512

Looking good, Looks seamless with the handle. Actually makes me like something other than a flat-top for once :)

Nice, I like the magpul hand guards, nice slim profile allows me to get a good shooting grip on my bcm.

Looks great! When I took off my rail on my AR and added the MOE I saw a world of difference in ergonomics and weight savings. Here is my Before/After

How long are yours arms? Rifle length with AFG at the very end?? Holy cow.I can easily reach it with rifle length. I moved it back in so I can tuck my elbow while sling-wrapping my forearm for better accuracy when shooting offhand. With the MOE Magpul Handguard and the longer Magpul rail segments, I can move it way up or down now. I'll play with both depending on my shooting mood (moving/shooting or just offhand accuracy). Who knows...I'll switch and shoot more up front with the AFG this week. :)

The adapter actually allows you to still use the iron sights if you want. I have been training with irons so I shed the scopes with my latest setup.

My rifle with a different perspective of the carry handle adapter weaver mount:

Did the same thing, put a rifle length MOE on a 20" flat top and really like how it looks and feels over the std issue.
