It wasnt planned, I woke up to see Sacramento Black Riffle had two on sale for black Friday. After doing a few reviews and seeing that its a heck of a gun besides the price I had to have it. I just wanted something different that you dont see at the range every weekend.
The major complaint was the price, the price I got it for took that factor out of it for me.

The price of the rifle is the cheapest part over its life, would $500 make that much difference over, say 35 years? Enjoy it.

Yep-- great optic. The ARMS mount is great. Here's mine:

And congrats! Recently spent some trigger time on one and they're great shooting guns-- very smooth.

are stocks easily interchangeable on these?
I think the std handguard with enhanced stock would look great

Congrats. I've got one just like it. I put an Effin A muzzle break on and a Geissele trigger in it. The factory trigger is kinda crappy. Now it is perfect. Doesn't run well with pmags (weird) but loves standard mil specs instead. Takes a little trigger time to get used to the different recoil impulse compared to a standard M4. Enjoy.

Thanks guys. So does any 556 brake work? Is the trigger the same?

Yes. Thread pitch on barrel is same as mil spec M4, so you can use any muzzle device you wish. The trigger group is a little funky but uses all the same parts except a slightly different hammer spring. ACR hammer spring has a slight bend on one of the tails to capture a plastic component for the selector switch. You can use almost any mil spec trigger group but you'll have to keep the ACR factory hammer spring. I like the Geissele because they make one specifically for the ACR and it is their nice SSA type.

Too bad Bushmaster has discontinued the ACR line. Hope you don't have issues needing spare parts.

Of course we're all hoping Remington releases the v.2 version of the ACR which looks to dramatically improve the origninal ACR formula.

From what Ive heard Remington parts will fit the ACR. As of right now know one knows whats really going on. If have any problems the gun will be sent to Remington for warranty. My guess is it will be just fine. :D

Ok so Im in love! First off I had to go with a different Eotech because the other one was a four week wait. That said no biggie because it wouldnt have matched anyway. This gun has it all. Ever thing is Ambi and right in reach. I really like the bolt release. Not one problem today and I fired maybe 100 rounds thought it. Its so nice to own a gun that you dont see that often. Now if Bushmaster would just get that 6.8 barrel going it will be alllll good!
