Just got this today , a Bushmaster upper that was for sale by a fellow member
looks like it was not even broke in yet (120rds)...great deal , great guy.....trying to keep it simple...what do ya think ? ...old post

new post........Range trip/report...Sac Vally Range on Sat......high wind and all !

put just over 300rds thru it , WW white box 55g , Fed Tac. black box 55g , Mil-surp 62g green tip , and some old Malaysia M193 (ftf/fte/ stovepipes...malaysia crap!)

best group at the sight in range of 25yds was 5 shots one hole in a 1.5" bull with the green tip ammo , I like to sight in at 25yd zerro....old habits die hard....

only trouble was with my choice of rear sights...S&W sight had a bit of side to side play , very stiff but it would move to the left some when I pushed on the rear sight drum , not a top doller sight.....might look into a Magpul or a LMT , just want to keep it simple with no scopes or RDS....

I was getting a pile of brass at about 4 o'clock and some brass markes on the reflector , thats what its for I know...but....would a heavy carrier or a H-buffer help with not chipping the deflector to much over time ?

thought I'd share a good story about buying a upper from a CalGuns member ......Thanks CalGuns , would never have found this upper at such a great price...I'm happy !

Looks really good. I had the same kind of plan for my lower but with OD green, I think. I wouldn't change a thing to be honest.

Adding an RDS can be nice but plain and simple just works wonders sometimes.

I like the choice of rear sight. Does it stay on there reliably?
