Installed triangle non-folding stock on converted Saiga. Have a Solar Tact grip wrap on. Can this combo be considered a "thumbhole" stock?

if you are able to put your thumb through the hole and still be able to fire the weapon with the same hand, then yes it would be.

if you can make that reach, your hands must be huge.

http://www.gunmallusa.com/gunmallusa/prepareInventory.do?storeNumber=1&cat=2&displayItemDetailID=27&displayStockNumber=AKKRST-E1

It's polymer, non-folding.

Took two weeks. Like it so far.

I have been looking at Saigas. I wanted an SKS, but they're so damned expensive now, and Saigas are so cheap.

Other than changing to a pistol grip, is there a huge benefit to converting the FCG?

Damn, you have great taste! At first I saw the saiga and thought "That thing looks great, he shouldn't have changed it." But then with it as an AK right below it I think it looks just as BA

The trigger pull is much, much, much better, along with balance of the rifle.
