cool, I'll be on the lookout for some cheap, used CTRs

Magpul will be as popular as Tapco in a few years.

So they made an ACS without the battery tubes, and an ACS without the little door compartment on the side..

how creative of them.

Well products do and should evolve. I wonder if they'll phase out the previous models, though.

Good looking stocks.

Very interested in these since I was about to replace my CTR with an ACS but wasn't sure it was worth the increased size and weight.

I wonder if any of these new stocks will work with the Larue POD.

I mean, I'm no fanboi or anything, but they're good products at a good price. :p

I'm all over the STR. CTR length/weight with ACS cheekweld. Too bad I have the "old" ACS out for delivery right now.

IMO, What they should do is lighten up the UBR.

They should, however we're talking about a company that's almost as bad as kel-tec these days. They have a habit of taking a year(or more) to get products to the shelf these days, with the exception of a sling adapter and iphone case. I'm talking about grips announced and not sold until a year or more later, magazines that didn't get released for ages, etc.

Yeah, I don't hold my breath anymore waiting on their stuff, but for the most part, majority of their stuff is well designed, sturdy and affordable.

Won't that add a lot of unnecessary weight and make for a drastically uncomfortable length of pull?

I like the STR, the QD socket is a nice touch and the nub on the bottom might work to hook your off hand when firing from a rest.

I don't see a reason for them to discontinue the ACS or CTR.

I'm all over the STR.

Me too. I'll be buying myself one shortly. I guess, that is, if Magpul doesn't take a year to release them.

I wonder if these are gonna yank people's beard hair off their face.

That was the biggest complaint about the Vltor stocks and is the reason I use LMT stocks.
