Hey everyone. I'm looking to build an ar-10 and I was looking at the mega arms ma-ten upper/ lower combo. And online I've found it for $592. I went into an FFL a couple weeks ago and they wanted just about $750 for the same thing. Does it come out to the same if I ship it to them with tax/fees or is there somewhere else that can get them at a better deal? Thanks in advance. I love this site :)

Gary Roberts in Folsom. folsom@robertsgunsmithing.com . I have purchased several guns on line and had him handle this end of the transaction.

Awesome. I will give him a call. The ffl's around the corner from my house are both sketchy when it comes to ppt's or online ordering lol

Does that 750 include tax and fees?

Remember even a local FFL is going to collect sales tax for the good old state of California even though it's coming from out of state, plus your transfer and DROS fees. By my calculations that adds around $105 dollars to the original $592, which I'm assuming includes shipping - if not it'll be higher.

I'd recommend Robby at Golden State Tactical - he's easy to deal with, and local (Fair Oaks) - http://www.goldenstatetactical.com/

I don't believe it included tax and Dros. I emailed GST to see what they could do and I'm just waiting for a reply. And damn I missed the black Friday sale!! I didn't even think about checking it out online hahahaha

OR he could make you sign a waiver that YOU will pay the sale tax on your own, like mine does....
