Is there a good book on the principles of shooting....? (MOA, trigger pull, sighting in ...etc...?)

Buy "The Ultimate Sniper" by Major John L. Plaster.
Though not inexpensive, I predict that you won't regret the purchase and you will be introduced to many ideas that you probably haven't thought about.

I have to buy that book....I hear its good
Having owned and read the Plaster book, I wouldn't recommend it as a source on how to learn how to shoot. It's an ok book if you want to read about the art and tactics of the sniper.
Back to the topic, I would recommend The Rifle Shooter by David Tubb (http://www.zediker.com/books/rifleshooter/rifleshootermain.html) and Highpower Rifle (http://www.zediker.com/books/highpowerrifle/hprmain.html) also by David Tubb.
The Jim Owens books (http://www.jarheadtop.com/books.html) are good if you plan on shooting high power. Sight Alignment is a great book as well as Leather Sling and Shooting Positions. I don't have Reading The Wind, but it should also be good.

+1 for Jim Owens. Very nice guy, and an excellent source of shooting related information. Buy his books.
