Can anyone tell me what size ammo can I need for most efficiently storing boxes of 9mm ammo? I don't want to store it loose, I like being able to grab boxes to throw in my range bag as needed. I'm done buying boxes a few at a time, ready to start a stockpile.

I bought a 350 pack of 9mm federal at turners about 2 months ago and it was 7-50 rd boxes of federal and they fit in their really well. Not sure who makes the ammo can however.

How much 9mm ammo?

I use Cabela's Dry Storage Boxes and I just put 1000 rounds of 9mm in one of those with lots of room to spare. I left all the ammo in the individual boxes as well.

.50 Cal. cans work for me.

There is no such thing as a standard box size for 9mm, so the question can't be answered without more information.
