I recently received my upper I ordered a
16" HF mid upper- on the site its says , its a FN barrel.
I looked up other barrel pics online that are FN barrels and they have a FN stamp on it. Like this

Mine only has :
5.56 NATO 1/7 MP CHF PSA stamped on it .

Just want to know if your FN barrel is stamped or not . Or if you have a regular one what does it have. I just want to make sure I received the barrel I ordered . Thanks Mike

They use some barrels made From FN steal but separately list uppers with barrels marked FN.

Look at the description of the upper you ordered. If it says FN marked barrel then your barrel should be marked FN.

Thanks, Smittty
I guess its made by FN, but not stamped.

I believe they say the process is simialr to that of FNs but that they were not FN bbls per say.

My mistake, it clearly says right on there that they are made by FN.

I have read them say their hammer forged barrels are FN.

They are probably just marked different.

But the important question is how does it shoot and what do the parts look like?

PSA prices seem fantastic. A couple years ago I paid over $700 for an upper very similar to what PSA had on sale for $449. Mine has performed flawlessly and I like knowing that I've got a quality barrel and BCG. If a PSA upper has similar quality it is really a bargain.

Post #30 is a reply directly from PSA:

If I were you, I'd shoot them a quick email just to clear my conscience.

I love their stuff, built and entire rifle to compete with that is PSA....however one description of a barrel says HF and Carbine, but the title says mid...I got it...it was a mid and wasn't HF. For anyone reading this thinking all PSA barrels are HF...they aren't.

I can't say they have the best customer service, but their prices and quality to me are unbeatable.

Just noticed this on there site as well, I'm closer to pulling the trigger now than ever on one of their uppers. This is a nice little combo!

To my knowledge, all of the PSA CHF barrels are all FN made. Some were marked FN and some were not. Not sure why they did that, but PSA has been saying from the release that they are FN barrels. Hope that's helpful for you.

Glad it is resolved. How is the fit and finish of all the parts? I've been hearing really good stuff about them and am planning on using them for my LPK and upper

Fit and finish is good. It fits perfectly on my Aero lower. My lpk is PSA also. No complaints so far. My lower has about 1k rounds .
