Anybody know where I can get a good price on a military spec stock/buffer kit. Palmetto State Armory has one for $49.99 (US made) Is there any other place online that is selling a kit at a good price.

$50 for a mil-spec kit???? If thats true snag it. Stag's run $90 as do LMTs (AFAIK) and I wouldn't trust VLtor after the DSA scandel...they were subbing cheapo built tubes for actual 7075 tubes when supply ran low. There was a difference in logo too. The good tubes had a laser engraved VLTor logo while the el-cheapo tubes had a stencil logo.

I bought a lower kit from PSA and I am happy with the quality. I am just curious to whether another company might have a Black Friday price on this kit.

i went DPMS for the A2 conversion and it was $99.00 after "All was said and done."

all Mil-spec, too.

it comes with all the necessary hardware, buffer and spring. you'll need the correct spring and buffer if you're converting from a collapsible carbine stock.

I thought I read that the buffer, spring, plate, & castle nut were made by CMMG. Tube is from DSA as stated above.

Cheapest Mil Spec USA made tube (DSA) that I found was: $12.95 http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=XDSABuffer
